At Elizabeth’s home, your dog receives focused care and attention in a comfortable, familiar setting. We host a maximum of three dogs at a time, allowing each dog space to settle in, decompress, and feel at ease.

A Thoughtful Start for New Clients

We take the time to make sure this is the right fit for your dog.

New clients begin with:

  • a complementary meet and greet at Elizabeth’s home
  • followed by a 1–2 night trial stay for those dogs who might need it.

This allows your dog to get comfortable in the space before a longer visit.

What Your Dog’s Stay Looks Like

Each stay is tailored to your dog, but typically includes:

  • two daily outings (walks, play, or local adventures)
  • enrichment like Kongs, Toppls, and lick mats
  • rest and decompression time
  • optional social time (when appropriate)

We also maintain your home routines and expectations—whether that means leash manners, furniture rules, or snuggling on the couch.

Common Questions

Do you take intact dogs?
Sometimes. Depending on dates and fit, intact dogs may need to board solo.

Where do dogs sleep?
Wherever they’re most comfortable—crate, floor, or bed (if that’s their routine at home).

Do you use crates?
If your dog is crate-trained, we’ll follow that routine. Dogs who cannot safely free-roam will need to be crate-trained.

How long are dogs left alone?
No more than four hours at a time.

Do you offer private boarding?
Yes—both Exclusive and Single-Family options are available.
