Let's Talk Dogs Presents

Leashes, Harnesses & Dog Walking Equipment

This month’s discussion will focus on the equipment we use every day with our dogs — leashes, harnesses, collars, long lines, and the many tools available for walks, training, enrichment, and real-world adventures.

With so many options on the market, it can feel overwhelming trying to figure out what is safe, comfortable, practical, and appropriate for your individual dog. Wendy will walk us through different types of equipment, how and when they are commonly used, common fitting mistakes, and considerations for dogs of different sizes, personalities, and training goals.

Whether you have a brand new puppy, an adolescent dog pulling you down the sidewalk, a sensitive dog who needs thoughtful gear choices, or simply want to better understand the tools available, this conversation is designed to help you feel more informed and confident.

As always, Let’s Talk Dogs is a relaxed, welcoming community event where dog lovers, owners, trainers, and professionals can learn together, ask questions, and connect.
