Fidos Facing Fear
Can you identify the key subtle signs when a dog shows fearful behavior? Know what it looks like, so you can work on making a change. Our dog training package is designed to identify triggers so we can modify underlying emotions. We want your dog to feel better, so they can relax and enjoy life!
We never flood your dog with intense situations that push them beyond their fear threshold. Over-exposure to triggers can sensitize your dog, making them more fearful, not less. Check out our Fidos Facing Fear page to learn more about how we change the way your dog view the world.
Dogs Displaying Aggression
A dog displaying aggression might be giving you a hard time, but that dog is also having a hard time. Work with us to learn some of the subtle signs that your dog might be uncomfortable. You can change their environment before they act out in a big way! Our dog training includes strategies for safely desensitizing your dog to their triggers while simultaneously re-conditioning them to feel comfortable. A happy dog is a safe dog.
We never suppress your dog’s reaction with punitive measures. We believe that “punishing the growl” leads to a dog who stops communicating until it’s too late. Check out our packages for dogs displaying aggression for more information about our fear free dog training approach and approach.
Service Dog Training
Service dogs are defined in the Americans with Disabilities Act and are dogs that are specifically trained to help people with disabilities. For example, service dogs can be trained to help people who have PTSD, mobility impairments, are deaf or hard of hearing, have diabetes or many other conditions. We can help people with disabilities train their own dog to assist them as a service dog.
We provide guidance to train dogs to mitigate impairments, including:
- mobility impairments
- disabilities that impact emotions and/or cognition
- hearing loss, and
- diabetes.
